I met Beata at another workshop that I was working and, after seeing my images, she wanted to work with me as well! Beata was setting up her first invite-only workshop in months and wanted some awesome photographs to show off what she does best.

I am an energetic and curious HR professional with over 12 years of experience in facilitating learning and development programs and passion for making the people feel like they belong. WHAT DID WE DO?

I went along to Beata’s workshop to get some awesome photographs of her in action. With the workshop being 2 hours, it was easy for me to get what we needed!

Arriving early, we had a chat about angles, style, what she was talking about in her workshop. She showed me the handbook and other things that she was using to enhance the workshop and make it more engaging and personal to each individuals experiences.

Beata wanted photos that would be suitable for social media, marketing and advertising flyers etc.

I also, GOT INVOLVED! As this was a closed workshop it was easier for me to get involved and Beata wanted my input too. I was given a workbook and got to go through the topics and give my opinion. It was really good fun and I really love being able to get involved when I can. Usually, I’m the “back of the room and don’t get in the way” kinda guy for these type of events, but more and more I’m finding companies and businesses that like me getting more involved too!

WHAT CAN BEATA DO WITH HER IMAGES?

A lot of businesses struggle when it comes to using the media they have and when you’ve hired a professional you want to make the most out of your images. Use them EVERYWHERE and in everything you do, they really help with engagement!

Beata could easily use them for marketing and social posts and even a website page if she wanted. She doesn’t necessarily need a headshot because one of the images is very similar to a headshot and it’s an in-action shot. So it’s certainly one to use to show off who she is, what she does and that she actually does what she says she does.

All of the above took me about 5 minutes each, on Adobe Express, to put together. Now, with their tools and had I uploaded the brand and colours etc it would have been even quicker. It did the background cut out for me, it has 1000’s of templates to choose from and it makes it easy for people to do things like this themselves. Design isn’t for everyone, but with the tools we have like Canva and Adobe Express… It does get easier, and you can do it yourself if you’re self employed.
