Commercial Photography: It's not just for BIG business

Do the words "Commercial Photography" make you think...

IT'S EXPENSIVE

ITS TIME CONSUMING

WHAT EVEN IS IT?

I DON'T NEED THAT!

I CAN DO IT MYSELF ON MY PHONE

Well it doesn't have to be expensive, I make it fit in your time around your work and a lot of the time, while you're working away and it covers a LOT more than you might think. Phone photography is great for easy social media posts and I honestly don't knock it. I'm going to cover what it is, and 4 reasons why you need Commercial Photography for your business!

Headshot title Commercial Photography, It's your business

What does Commercial Photography cover?!

Commercial Photography is:

  • Product Photography

  • Lifestyle Photography

  • Fashion Photography

  • Food Photography

  • Services

  • Headshots (not many will put this in but i'll explain why!

5 Reasons Why you need Professional Photography;

Gaining Trust:

The biggest has to be for gaining clients trust. And to do this effectively you have to show your face,

which is why I include headshots, have your service or product on the front line, have images of you doing that job and it does also mean some short videos of who you are and how you work. ALL of these combined means that clients know you from the second they’re on your website, they know it’s you/your team that they’re going to be talking to and working with. Would you prefer to see a picture of the plumber before they come into your house? It’s not blind date either so don’t give your customers or clients that Cilla Black experience!

YOU are what sells!

While your products are service might be in high demand the biggest difference that actually gains you profit is... YOU. Using your headshots, your team headshots on a team page, and on social media means you can get the trust and keep up engagement on social media. It's why I include headshots in the commercial photography world.

Whether your team member has been at the company for years, or they've hit a big milestone birthday then use their headshots/photos of them on the job to create a familiar team, gain social media engagement and create trust and familiar faces!

Social Media Engagement

Whether you’re in a busy period or a quite one social media engagement plays the key role in making sure you’re visible to your clients. If it’s a down time talk about the hard work that goes into what you do… have those photos of you DOING what you do to boost the post views and have reels and videos ready to share on your stories to remind people who you are and what you’re currently up to.

If you’re about to hit a busy period, capitalise on it by pushing your most popular products or services at this time of year. If you’re a gardener, remind people what work you can do in the winter months, share your favourite garden transformations through winter and then in spring push the first cut etc.

Advertising and Designs

Using your own photographs in your advertising also means people can see what they’re buying or who they’re buying into. Putting professional photos on ALL of your advertising instantly makes your business look as professional as it is. It shows people what you are at just a glance and images that are eye catching and relevant mean that people will

Brand Strengthening

Note pad

This is vital to keeping your brand alive. Whether it’s showing off your logo on your workwear or something as simple as a photograph of your note pad that has your logo name and website etc. it just means your making it a familiar brand for clients new and old.

These ones don't have to be professional but if we're working together and I'm shooting your business then let's get those bits and bobs out for you to use!
